What is the difference between solar cable and ordinary cable?

Solar cables, also known as photovoltaic special cables, are mainly used in solar power stations. They have the advantages of high temperature resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, UV resistance, flame retardant and environmental protection, and long service life. They are mainly used in harsh climate conditions; Commonly used models are PV1-F, H1Z2Z2-K.

The difference between solar cables and ordinary cables：

1. Ordinary cable:

Conductor: Copper conductor or tinned copper conductor

Insulation: PVC or XLPE insulation

Sheath: PVC sheath

2.Solar cable:

Conductor: copper conductor or tinned copper conductor

Insulation: Irradiated cross-linked polyolefin insulation

Sheath: Irradiation cross-linked polyolefin insulation

3. From the above, it can be seen that the conductor used is consistent with the solar cable.

4.Ordinary cable insulation and sheath can be seen from the above is different from solar cable.

5. Ordinary cables are only suitable for laying in ordinary environment, while solar cables can be used for laying in harsh environment.
